Refund Policy

1. Summary

Vornin is a subscription SaaS. You can cancel any time and you will not be charged again. We do not refund unused time on a paid period that has already started, with the exceptions below (mistaken charges, billing errors, statutory consumer rights, and service unavailability).

2. Free plan

The Free plan is free. There is nothing to refund.

3. Monthly subscriptions

Monthly plans renew every 30 days. Cancel any time from your billing settings or by emailing billing@vornin.com. Cancellation stops the next renewal. The current period remains active until its end date and is not refunded.

4. Annual subscriptions

Annual plans are paid 12 months in advance at a 20% discount versus monthly. Cancellation stops the next renewal. We do not pro-rata refund unused months on an annual term that has already started, except where required by law or where you qualify under one of the exceptions in section 6.

Annual plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We send a renewal reminder by email at least 14 days before charge.

5. Changes to your plan

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated against your current billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Changes to your target count behave the same way (see pricing).

6. When we will refund

Duplicate or mistaken charge — full refund, no questions.
Charged after cancellation — full refund of the post-cancellation charge.
Material service unavailability — if the platform is unavailable for a sustained period that materially prevents use of the Service, contact us; we will consider a pro-rata credit or refund on a case-by-case basis.
EU/UK consumer 14-day right of withdrawal — if you are a consumer (not a business) in the EU or UK, you have 14 days from purchase to cancel for a full refund, provided you have not made substantial use of the paid features. By starting a paid scan or using paid-tier features within the 14-day window you expressly request that the Service begins immediately and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost once the Service has been fully performed. Most Vornin customers are businesses; the statutory cooling-off period does not apply to B2B purchases.

7. When we will not refund

Change of mind partway through a paid period.
Internal organisational changes (team disbanded, project cancelled, vendor consolidation).
Failure to cancel before an annual renewal where a reminder was sent to the email on file.
Account suspension or termination for breach of the Terms of Service (for example, scanning systems without authorisation).
Findings volume — Vornin is a scanning and reporting tool. We do not guarantee detection of any specific vulnerability. See Terms §8.

8. How to request a refund

Email billing@vornin.com from the address on the account. Include the invoice number or the last four digits of the payment method. We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

9. Payment processor

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, tax collection, and the payment method on our behalf. Refunds we approve are issued via Paddle to your original payment method. Paddle is listed on our sub-processors page.

10. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is in error, contact us first — we will resolve it faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended until the dispute is resolved.

11. Taxes

Where VAT or sales tax was charged on the original transaction, refunds are issued inclusive of tax. Paddle reflects the refunded tax on the credit invoice.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced by email to active subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect.
